The Alleyway Cafe

A cafe planned to be hidden in the alleyway of the UNESCO World Heritage town of St. George's, Bermuda.

A narrow alleyway leading off the main pedestrian street in the town opens up onto a beautiful harbor side retreat. The real challenge was making it an alley way you'd want to wander down, that would snatch visitors and locals alike from the main street.
To do this, we intended to create living walls of monstera plants, mosses and ferns running down both sides of the path, concealing aircons and lights with a warm glow for the nights.

These draft menus were designed to provide truly healthy options, with an international island flare and local specials.

This project unfortunately never moved ahead after the owners of the building decided to utilize the building in a different way.
