A cafe planned to be hidden in the alleyway of the UNESCO World Heritage town of St. George's, Bermuda. A narrow alleyway leading off the main pedestrian street in the town opens up onto a beautiful harbor side retreat. The real challenge was making it an alley way you'd want to wander down, that would snatch visitors and locals alike from the main street. Designing a quick kitchen facelift and a big reveal for our favorite clients. After a the successful staircase remodel, the Webber's decided to move ahead with a kitchen refacing to update their dark, drab traditional kitchen. With a few simple solutions, we avoided any major construction and gave them an entirely bright new feel and functionality to accommodate their culinary needs. From pink sand and sustainably resourced corals to invasive lionfish fins and washed up plastics, La Garza preserved pieces of Bermuda for tourists and locals alike to keep with them.
