AMERICA'S CUP OPENING CEREMONY

WHERE

THE NATIONAL STADIUM
Hosting the event at the National stadium on the south field allows us to open the ceremony to a wider public audience, while making it more possible to reduce ticket prices for the general public. Seating 4000+ people. the stadium is the ideal location to bring together locals, visitors and dignitaries. We have done a basic layout based on our meeting with the SVP of Operations at the Stadium, however it is difficult to plan without CAD drawings being provided or created for the space. We are in the process of attempting to obtain these.

The Opening Ceremony presents a unique opportunity to showcase Bermuda in a way the world has never seen. A Opening Ceremony highlighting Bermudian culture designed, directed and produced by Bermudians, featuring Bermudian artists, musicians and performers. It creates a legacy of pride at a moment in time when it is needed, which will echo through the generations. The opening ceremony fits the description of the Cultural Legacy Fund and while it meets the needs of upscale high class clients to Bermuda (important economic investors to the island) it will also meet the needs of everyday Bermudians as the costumes, dances and performances showcased in the Opening Ceremony take to the streets of Bermuda for the May 24th Bermuda Day Parade - cultural legacy and pride in action.
Corporate
This would be a great opportunity for local businesses to create jobs and support art and culture in Bermuda. Their support will be highly publicized in the America's cup event and stand to benefit them to a great degree.
